I wish someone would stand up to this bully. When I was a youngster growing up in Mobile, Alabama a bully (usually a male) was dealt a knuckle sandwich and the bullying usually stopped after a fat lip. I know that fighting is considered socially unacceptable now, but it sure would be nice to see DeSantis sporting a black eye. Everyone could see for themselves what happens when you screw with the wrong person. DeSantis is just another wannabe Hitler control freak who loves power. He gets a cheap thrill out of screwing with those he considers weaker than him. I wish karma would hurry up with this guy before he turns Florida into his personal dictatorship. I don't condone violence in the political arena because the ballot box method of removal is my preferred method of humiliating his type. The voters of Florida need to wake up and dispose of DeSantis at the polls.
When I saw that happen I wish the Special Olympics had pulled out of Florida altogether. The guy is quite evil. We know it but many don't. It's ok to push back on a bully.

DeSantis is using the State to chill free speech of two organizations, Disney and The Tampa Bay Rays. Supposedly, corporations are people. First Amendment violation?

Is this not only autocratic capture in that it creates state based incentives for businesses to hue the party line and punish those that do not or dare say anything negative against the leader or his policy but also a step towards fascism in that it coerces businesses leaders to merge with the state?
