Yes, it was just outstanding. There is a huge need for the general public to be able to spot those seeking power positions who exhibit traits of the Dark Triad (narcissism, Machiavellianism and psychopathy). Any society that is unable to detect these traits is doomed to failure, as history shows.
Thanks Steve, I’ll call this psychopathy/psychopaths. Know their behavior is key to identifying the individuals then the trail is sociopathic/ sociopaths training behind. Thus presenting contagious behavior. We can see this from individual to family to community to organizations. Then denial sets in leading to delusion. So all the way up the ladder of destruction. Painful, frightening to watch the process. Perhaps you have your stories/experiences. I certainly have mine from personal through professional.

So few voters have an education in abnormal psychology, that we ended up with a sociopath (Trump) in power as a result. There should be public service announcements on TV to explain the danger of these people. I have known a sociopath and found him to be incredibly cruel and callous. Having this type of person leading a nation is self destructive.
I’m certain that early public education should include psychology. General, then including developmental then eventually abnormal. It’s not for everyone but exposure early would be helpful. This needs to be taken on by excellent teachers. (Hard but not impossible) There are some student initiated programs addressing social justice (DON “diversify our narrative) similar to what the last speaker presenter discussed. The key is “Student Initiated”. Much of the parental led anti-CRT is likely to crumble under the weight of adolescent rebellion. Hopefully!!
A primary stumbling block in discussing Trump’s psychopathic behaviors is his and others use of primitive defense mechanisms (cluster b personality disorders) then adopted by wanta be Trumpsters and following sociopath rabble. For possible counters maybe consult Heather McGhee’s “The Sum of Us”. Also Bandy Lee’s “Profile of a Nation: Trump’s Mind, America’s Soul”.
In order to take this battle on we all need to be educated.
