Now, we'll have to fetch the water from the well, carry it home, and boil it before drinking. So much more work, care, and attention are needed.
Thank you for this interview. But how is our democracy going to stay strong when the GOP is actively reshaping voting districts in their favor and hindering others from voting at all? We can make sure we get out to vote in some places, but that's getting much harder to do in others. Not to mention, the likelihood that elections may be overturned down the road.
I found her statement that "we just have to go vote" a bit oversimplified and black and white, but perhaps there was more to the interview that wasn't included.
