THANK YOU for speaking out about the image of President Biden and its meaning. I see the Orange Turd as escalating his hate attacks as he becomes more and more convinced that he HAS to get elected, no matter who dies in the process. He has to convince himself, as the psychopathic, narcissistic, Machiavellian asshole he is, that it's inevitable that he should win and avoid ever being punished for doing wrong, because that would mean that he's a LOSER. Maybe if his mommy had punished him sometimes in childhood he wouldn't be such a TURD now. I don't want to see this country, or me, dragged into hell because of his ego and the egos of his enablers. Stephen Hawking said that the two biggest problems with our species were greed and stupidity, and I think he's right.

Ruth, regarding the Biden hostage image - great short video you made. That needs to be said, but I think the danger in this is even greater than you state. If you look more closely at the image you will see there is what appears to be a bullet wound in his forehead. This is a picture of a dead Biden, not merely a hostage.
Thank you for writing about a subject I am very concerned about. The assault on our democracy and system of justice is terrible. The former President and his cohorts are taking extreme measures to attempt to dramatically change our government to authoritarianism. The US judicial process, ranging from the Supreme Court, the Attorney General, the Department of Justice, and the Federal court system, has failed to render a convicted rapist, serial liar, and a traitor to the country, to justice. As the adage states, "Justice delayed is justice denied." The appeals that Team Trump have made border on the bizarre, making the election in November as the only hope remaining to stop this menace. A positive outcome for democracy does not end with a defeat of Trump but creates a temporary respite. History shows us the defeat of authoritarians is an ongoing process - we can't ever take our foot off the pedal.
I really appreciate the courage of the judges who are having to deal with Trump and his followers. They keep going, doing everything they can to uphold our laws and institutions. I'm not sure I would have their courage…
That ethics complaint is fascinating. How is decrying violence a comment on the "merits of any case." Even if he was commenting about a specific gag order, such order has nothing to do with the merits of the underlying case.
One of the most important pillars of fascism has to be the leader's ability to convince followers to fight on their leader's behalf. But it's not just merely fighting for them, it's also their willingness to kill for the leader. Mussolini, Hitler, Slobodan Milosevic and others have so successfully sold their product (fascism) that followers were willing to kill for the "cause". Now, tRump has done this as well. Sociopaths/psychopaths love to manipulate others and use them for their dirty work. This is known as narcissistic triangulation. This is common in fascism because most of the leaders have been sociopaths/psychopaths.
