Thanks for sharing your interview with Ai-jen Poo, Ruth. I've heard her speak before, and she is very inspiring.

Ditto per the sharing of your Capehart segment. You were great, as were the other two guests. I have seen them both before, but were struck with Bardella's comments in particular. I loved how forceful and clear he was in his choice of words. And Balnit too, in the second round answers she gave, especially. We need these voices to get echoed more, just like yours! Love Capeheart too. Thank you for doing these appearances and sharing them with us.

Happy Labor Day to all!

I want to repeat here what I posted on Facebook. I am not worried about polls that show Trump and Biden tied. Independent voters will tilt the scales enormously in Biden's favor. I might add it is very important for Democrats to win large majorities in both houses. Not only to counterbalance Manchin and Sinema, but also to allow Biden to implement more beneficial policies.

Ruth, was wonderful watching you on msnbc several times over the last week. It makes a difference to hear your clear Lucid message on television. Your calm delivery also speaks volumes. The clear thoughtful dynamic information appears to have, over time, pierced the initial disbelief and incredulity. The various hosts have shifted as they become familiar with your specific explication of authoritarian language and historical examples of the playbook. I sincerely hope it's having a greater impact on larger American audiences.thanks so much always.

Lor, you encapsulate that so well. So effective in clarity and neutral tone. "pierced the initial disbelief and incredulity."--that's an outcome we need.

Yes I loved this interview and the focus as well. Thanks

It is center focus for us to enforce the care aspect and hold the Republicans as well to professed , their overall message of caring. Where’s the allocation of funds? What the amounts taken from these programs during their reigns of terror. I’ll give those statistics if you’d care! We’ve seen it in our state. The news is full of it from the Congress bills passed one after another defunding school lunches, taking money from public funding to go to charter,schools..I’ll neither reiterate or re-litigate ..we all know . But Biden continuous care as these interviews collectively state , steadily chips away at those needs. Foothold by foothold we get the feet in the door and the funds to known beneficial improvements. Once we have taken the fort by storm (it’ll take at least 3 cycles ) we’ll get the electoral college out, Citizens United revoked, pass popular vote wins, voting rights restored and women back in their own drivers seats we can make some decent change.

I am so excited to see the youngsters come out and say it like it is.

I am so excited to see Medicare for all, the deficit fast downhill and zeroed out again, decent care for our aging, and education put back on burner#1.

LETS GET ‘ER DONE!

💙VOTE ALL THE COMPLICIT OUT💙

Electoral college out. It is outdated, it makes the elections seem like a lottery call. Yes--medicare for all, down with deficit, decent care for seniors, & education. Almost time to hand-the-keys off to the younger generation, imo -- the crisis of climate is a paramount concern. VOTE - VOTE - VOTE

A bit of humor: I don’t know what rock I’ve been under or stuck in the deep recesses of an underground cave, but I just realized our Ruth’s initials are RBG!

What an honor to share them with the other hero of democracy: Ruth Bader Ginsberg!!

It’s easy to get distracted from noticing such details, Liz, by the daily deluge of apocalyptic events that are the new normal🙄 .... if I use the RBG acronym for Ruth, I preface it with “Prof” or “author”

Randolph… so very true! I think I’ll start using the “Prof” preface along with the RBG initials. My circle of clergy historians and legal scholars hold Justice Ginsberg in the highest of respect! Thanks😊

Thank you Ruth for sharing this on Labor Day. Democracy, labor/ workplace rights and better mental health are all braided together. Better mental health tames down violence. Who wouldn't want that?
