Why is the Texas GOP Cleaning House Now?

Building on my MSNBC appearance last night, I react in this video to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s impeachment by the Texas GOP, which is one of the most extremist organizations in the country. They passed a resolution in summer 2022 that calls Joe Biden an “acting” president (!). Why are they cleaning house now?
