In keeping with this week’s cult theme, below is an image of the Casa del Fascio in Como, a Fascist Party headquarters built in a modernist style in the early 1930s by the architect Giuseppe Terragni. We usually see this building unadorned, which shows off its pure lines (Image 1). But it’s important to see it as it was during the dictatorship, when it often advertised Mussolini’s personality cult (Image 2).
