Today’s Zoom call was disrupted by racist hackers who invaded the chat and created noise disturbances and shouted slurs and threats. Given the times we live in, and what I write about, it’s not surprising that this happened. The point is to frighten and silence us.

It won’t work. We will not be silenced.

I am taking steps to make sure this does not happen again, from having co-hosts to other measures, and I’m reporting the incident to Zoom and the authorities. Many of you have written to express your dismay and support, and I thank you for that.

Until next time, in peace,

Ruth

I am really sorry that we got attacked like that during our weekly Zoom meeting. But after what happened last week when myself and others, particularly Dr. Hotez, were attacked on Lucid with vile anti-vax propaganda, we shouldn't be surprised they're now targeting us.

Somehow, you're going to have to create a list of subscriber names that are "safe" and "trusted" and be able to screen new applicants' names before they can be approved?

I am not deterred and my support for you Ruth and the Lucid group remains stronger than ever.

I agree Gary: They will not deter us. They actually fear us. That’s why they disrupted. We are all Lucid and must remain so. Ruth, my support for you and this group is as strong as ever!
