When rule of law and by vote fails in a democracy, the founders of our country made the case it was time for ‘democracy by other means’.

It’s smoke and mirrors when you look at the polls

“…Americans voting in free and fair elections are a big risk for Trump’s political future --only 40% of registered voters approve of his performance…”

Wait until the red states start experiencing the ICE thugs manhandling the deportation raids, and the economy is dangerously further and further in debt, has Trump’s administration provided any jobs or any affordable benefits to us taxpayers?

Thank you. Sadly, our future is uncertain.

Wow . . . And the plot thickens.

Thank you for shedding light on this, Professor. Sure hope some messaging gurus are strategizing with messaging to combat the furtherance of this now Gargantuan Lie. Truth is the remedy, but how to present it?

He is getting worse by the day, but the Americans are waking up and willing to fight for what they now see is about to be taken away from them. From the other side of the pond and non- American, there are reasons for optimism even though things may still get worse before they get better. US has after all strong democratic roots which most other authoritarian regimes don’t have! 💪💪💪. Much loving kindness to everyone! 🥰

Depressing, but insightful, as always.

Excellent piece of what is underway along with the historical context.

Weave in Gabbard’s trying to bury the whistle blower complaint. The gang of 6 finally received after many months. Not surprise, it is heavily redacted. A safe bet is ot provides the plan to steal the election and the redactions sho2 trumps direct involvement.

Perhaps Mr. Lipton can tell us if Tulsi Gabbard has already messed with the voting machines in Puerto Rico. In any case, non sequitur yet related to the larger picture, Scott Galloway suggests an economic boycott of Big Tech he calls Resist and Unsubscribe:

I attend the protests, but I think economic pressure would be the most effective as Scott Galloway explains. Big Tech and other large corps are funding the Trump regime. As consumers we have power by not funding them! People are not moving fast enough on this.

There are many in the Trump administration, besides Regime Leader Trump himself, who would benefit from Trump continuing to be the putative leader of a fascist regime. This would include the Tech Broligarchs and business sycophants being enriched by fat Government contracts. With his own ICE SS army Trump has the potential to simply declare another “emergency” and postpone or cancel the Midterms. Chairman Roberts in the $upreme Court would go along with it, the same Roberts who would gut the amendments for Civil and Voting rights. The 2020 Election Fraud is, I think, a vanity project for Regime Leader Trump. He could claim he “won three in row” automatically legitimatizing a fourth term - “I’m better than FDR.” With the help of the Tech Broligarchs, AI, and his own military forces this cancer of a Regime Leader has no plans to leave EVER.

Thankfully, his health is failing. No getting around that.

One piece to add to this scenario- the Supreme Court has said that one area where the president should be given complete deference is in the handling of international affairs. So, what happens if Maduro “confesses” that Venezuela interfered in the 2020 election. Would trump use that “confession” as the reason for the federal government to “nationalize” our elections, since it would be done in the name of national defense?

He wouldnt try? Any and all things are “on the table”. Take anything he has said, will say, do, or think”

Ruth, it just keeps getting worse and worse!!! I just don't understand how so many of our republican and democratic leadership can allow this regime to continue. Thanks for all you do to enlighten us on what is happening.

The BIG LIE must be shared with ALL voters, whether Democrats, Independent , or even Republicans. It must be explained simply so the info, the message, the intentions, and the MAGA strategy are pointed out.

The bottom line for 2026 and 2028 Is NATIONALIZED ELECTIONS .

Every action by the Trump Administration led by Stephen Miller must be exposed and refuted quickly and regularly.

We must be proactive or authoritarian rule will take place and American citizens will be tool and a fool and given only one choice. That is to follow an authoritarian nation or be jail, injured, killed for attempting to “ fight “ back.

Thank you, Ruth. This is one of the most sobering things I've read in a long time. Either I'd forgotten some of the conspiracy theories / intricacies, or I didn't know them all. I appreciate you bringing them into focus here.

I'm curious about the obvious antidotes to this sickening experiment. Despite a million opportunities for Congress to do their job and remove trump from office, I don't see that happening. Nor do I see it as anything close to a panacea, as trumpism is still alive and well. In addition, Vance and the rest of the team, guided by Russ Vought and Project 2025 will survive him when he's gone. What is the role of protest in preventing the conspiracy to nationalize the elections? What other options do we have?

Add it to the lies, prepare for the fall out, twist it into the furthest fetch of …”we’re going to be so rich” for example..how many thought he meant he and his family or perhaps a few which are left ( nobody under the busses count ..I’m a tellin’ ya)!

Get it?

Yes America I am talking to you…
