This is good to know. Thanks. My wife and I live in rural northern MN near a Native American reservation. A group of students from the res asked to meet with the Chief of Police in a small town near us to ask if the Police Dept. would protect them against attacks by ICE. Some members of our Indivisible group attended the meeting to ask about police protection against ICE interference with voters at polling places. The Chief offered no assistance to students or Indivisible members or other adults. None. There are other local police departments in our area and local sheriffs who are more willing to help. I have no doubt the Trump administration will consider using ICE or the military to interfere with voting.
These are some of the companies that Indivisible Abroad is looking at starting an international divestment campaign against. Right now, for May Day it is boycotting the US World Cup, which is quickly becoming its own worst enemy with prices, safety, ICE and transportation costs a concern, as well as whether jets will even be flying this summer given the oil crisis.

I am really disgusted with the idea of Trump’s mug on our passports and our money. It’s his idea of being like King Charles III. Kathy Hughes, I agree re: automatic driving. We were just in Phoenix and saw several automatically driven cars, but no Teslas. The relative we were visiting in AZ recently chose to hire a ride home from the airport in one. Hair raising! After returning home we saw a newspaper article reporting that a number of driverless cars had received moving traffic citations from Scottsdale and Phoenix police. 😅. Those are sent to the manufacturers of the cars. It’ll be a while before I take that risk but I’m interested to see if anyone comes up with a shorthand generic name for these vehicles: auto-autos? auto(squared)?
