Welcome back to Lucid! Here is the link to register for today’s Q&A, Friday, June 24, 1-2pmET. Registration is free and your information will not be used for any other purpose. Everyone is welcome to attend and ask a question or just listen in. The meetings are not recorded. We’ll talk about the Jan. 6 hearings, thinking critically about the headlines we consume, Putin’s plans to create scarcity and chaos around the world, and anything else that’s on your mind.
Every Friday I include a photo. This one marks the start of summer. It shows the place where I come to just be. Slowing down and giving yourself a few minutes of respite is essential to remain clear and focused when everything seems like it is accelerating in a bad direction.
You don’t need a green space and a hammock: you can make space to pause in your car; in the shower; or sitting in the sun somewhere during your lunch hour. I sometimes stay in that hammock for less than 10 minutes, but I always feel better afterwards. Self-care, whatever that means for you, is key to staying lucid.
Lovely serenity! Need it big time after todays Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade. 🤬
Thank you Ruth!
Taking time as you say is important; I try to listen to music for part of everyday.
