No one ever mentions the Budapest Memorandum in which Ukraine was assured territorial sovereignty against threats by Russia and other signatories. Russia violated this in 2014 with its invasion of Crimea.

If I was from another planet I’d be saying to myself why are both of you the leaders of our society governments etc like an episode of old Star Trek or something if I saw the current leadership on tv etc I’d not want to even establish first contact unless it was president Zelensky 🇺🇦
Wonderful discussion. I don't believe that Trump has resisted understanding that Ukraine must continue fighting or it and its leaders will be annihilated. I believe that he understands that outcome perfectly, but either he simply doesn't care or, more likely, he wants their annihilation so that he can remain in Putin's favor.
tRump visited Moscow on business when it was the Soviet Union, so he has no problem dealing with dictatorships. He has no conscience, so it matters not, if people or nations die. He's not beholden to anyone because he has no emotional connection to anyone. Everything is transactional/mechanical with him.
Regarding the Ukrainians' remarkable ability to make drones, isn't that party due to Ukraine having people with especially strong technical skills? Weren't they a primary source of such skills during the Soviet era?
Trump is a puppet President for Putin and Netanyahu. Putin is also trying to help Trump subvert the Midterm election. I hope all Americans come out in full force to vote out the Republicans completely ... otherwise I have a bad feeling this ICE Gestapo will be another tool to interfere with voting. The Republicans have sabotaged the US Constitution otherwise Trump would never have been allowed to be President and he would have been impeached by now. Hoping for a miracle here.

Many of us got a mailing from a friend asking a number of questions including about Collins in GA asking if it was true. She was obviously scared (and had escaped Nazi Germany with her parents). She also graduated college suma cum laude and reads ;) . I'd say Vought et al his a key milestone.
