Welcome back to Lucid, and hello to all new subscribers. Here is the link to register for today’s Q&A, at 1-2pmET. Please check your spam and promotions folders if you don’t see the joining link in your inbox. Registration is free and your information will not be used for any other purpose. The gatherings are never recorded and I ask that you not record them.
Every Friday I include a photo, many of them sent to me by Lucid subscribers. If you have a special place, send me an image of it at contact.ruthbenghiat@gmail.com. I will assume you will be anonymous unless you tell me otherwise.
This photo of the recent fires in the Gironde region of France, as seen from Cap Ferret, sums up the danger of our times. Climate change transforms what is normally a serene summer water landscape into a dramatic and disturbing scene. Our planet is burning, and changing our lifestyles and advocating for green policies and sustainability is essential.
Both stunning and awful!
Thank you Ruth: A both terrible and haunting photo which encapsulates the natural horror we have both wrought and must repair!
