Welcome back to Lucid, and a special hello to new subscribers! I have changed the procedure for joining the live Q&A, which will take place at 1-2pmET today, Dec. 3.

To join the Zoom meeting, you will be required to register with your name and email address. Once you do that you’ll be sent an individualized link by email. There is no fee to register and no penalty for registering and then not attending.

You’ll be in a waiting room before being admitted to the meeting. Then we’ll get started! As always, ask a question, air a concern, or just listen in. I look forward to seeing you all there.

Every Friday I offer a calming or inspiring photo to set the tone for the day. I often publish images of special people or places sent to me by Lucid subscribers. This week’s is a beach in Pacific Palisades, California, where I grew up. For some years I had a direct view of the ocean, and seeing that open horizon always filled me with wonder.
